I love bright colors and am inspired from the 80’s retro scene I grew up in as well as mid-century modern & minimalist designs.
Every piece of pottery, mug or porcelain jewelry made is handcrafted with love, care, and intention. Each mug is thrown on a wheel with stoneware clay, hand carved and painted by yours truly. This is done with food safe glazes then dried and kiln fired twice. The entire process takes four or more weeks to make one item. Minor variations in form, texture, or glaze are a natural part of artisanal ceramics and reflect the uniqueness of my small-batch process.

Rock Paper Scissor Designs started in 2010 in Anchorage, Alaska and is now in Bend, Oregon. I make each piece by wheel or by hand, inspired by years of mountain guiding in Alaska and long, dark winters.
